information about woodplast

What is Plast wood?

Plast wood (wpc) is generally composed of wood, thermoplastics and a number of additives, each of which can include the following:

Wood section: includes wood powder, wood fiber and so on.

* Wood powder does not mean sawdust or MDF soil, but the wood chips or pieces are poured into the wood pulverizer and produce wood powder according to the desired mesh.

Thermoplastics: Mainly new and recycled plastic materials such as polyethylenes, polypropylenes (pp) and polyvinyl chlorides (PVC). Of course, polyethylene (pe) wood plastics are more common.

Additives: Dyes, couplings, UV stabilizers, foams and lubricants that help to achieve the desired final product.

Is Plast wood environmentally friendly?

Plast wood is obtained from waste products and is 100% recyclable from wood itself, wood waste, agricultural waste and plastic waste. In general, Plast wood (plastic wood) is an environmentally friendly product. During the production process of Plast wood, almost all input materials are consumed and leave no special waste. Perhaps the only downside to this is the production of pollutants such as carbon dioxide, which is largely offset by filtering out pollutants.

information about woodplast

Do you need a special paint for Plast wood (wpc)?

Unlike other materials such as polywood, MDF, HPL, etc., Plast does not need surface protection and therefore saves on surface coating costs, labor and time.

But if necessary, Plast wood can also be painted, oil paints can be used to paint the surfaces of Wood Plus.

Is plastic wood fire resistant?

Not all plastic wood products are fireproof by themselves.  But usually quality products have fire-retardant properties in the sense that they prevent the fire from igniting and do not intensify it. Since a significant part of Plast wood composite is made of plastic, the tendency of fire in case of fire is naturally high in this product.  But due to the additives and the standards defined for this product, this problem has been largely solved.

It should be noted that Van Wood products are slow-burning.

* Vanwood plastic wood products have a slow burning certificate from the steel test center.

Is it possible to work with plastic wood with carpentry tools?

With a quality plastic wood product, you can easily work with conventional carpentry tools for cutting, drilling, nailing and sanding, and therefore there is no problem.

The tools needed for Plast Vanwood wood profiles are: Persian saw, disc saw, hammer saw, electric drill and cordless drill.

What are the benefits of van wood?

Plast wood (wpc) has unique properties that make it very useful and helpful to use it in its place. Among the features and properties of Plast wood, the following can be mentioned:

  • Moisture resistance
  • Resistance to fungi and mold
  • Crack resistance
  • Resistance to termites and insects
  • Environmentally friendly and safe
  • Recoverable and recyclable
  • Washable with detergent
  • Possibility of resistance to acids
  • Sound insulation and thermal insulation
  • Antibacterial properties
  • Ability to resist scratches
  • Possibility of fire resistance
  • Slip resistance
  • Possibility of resistance to UV rays to some extent
  • Adaptation to different weather conditions
  • No need for paint coating
  • Has a useful life of about twenty years

Of course, the important point is that not all existing manufacturers and brands of Plast wood do not necessarily have all these standards and the necessary quality. This issue should be considered when buying with the presence of the above items in the product should be checked at the request of the seller.

Van Wood Production Group guarantees all its profiles according to the warranty card.

What are the disadvantages of plastic wood?

One of the disadvantages of plastic wood is that it does not look like pure and natural wood and does not have the feeling that wood has as a living being and inspires around it. Especially the natural streaks in wood are not found in plastic wood.

Also, Plast wood is slightly weaker than wood against high temperature changes, and if the product is not made with the required quality, it can cause many problems later.

A very important point is that: a good and standard installation can ease your mind about the quality of the product for many years.

You may be wondering how?

The answer is very simple: even if you buy the best Woodplast profile with the highest price, when the installation is not standard or it is an amateur installer and does not observe the distances between the substructure cans or does not observe the expansion and contraction seam in the installation, the project is as easy. After a while, you will suffer from twisting or breaking and sometimes cracking.

So be sure to try to coordinate a good installer from reputable companies for your project before installation.

Van Wood Group assures you that the best installers in Iran, of course, are limited in number (for large projects)

After many years of experience, we have been working with these installers.

Physical and mechanical properties of Plast wood:

Plastic wood can be very efficient in its place due to its unique physical and mechanical properties. In the following section, we examine the physical and mechanical properties of Plast wood.

Physical properties of Plast wood:

Due to the inherent structure of Plast wood, which is composed of wood and plastic, it has very little water absorption, and this has caused swelling and bloating when exposed to aquatic environments. Therefore, due to this property, Plast wood is used in environments exposed to water and moisture, such as bathrooms, toilets and kitchens.

Plast wood also has good flexibility and high durability. Even in the views that are spherical, with a little heat on the back of the profiles, this product can be bent according to the pattern.

 information about woodplast

Mechanical properties of Plast wood:

The following section presents some important mechanical properties of Plast wood.

Shear strength: about 27 MPa

Flexural strength: about 40 MPa

Therefore, it can be said that Vanwood plastic wood has good resistance in various fields.  Wood plastic also has good creep resistance and the use of coupling agents during its construction helps it to adhere better to the adhesives. Since plastic wood does not absorb any water, there will be no cracking. Vanwood plastic wood deck profiles are widely used today in swimming pools due to their resistance to water absorption.

Important note:

Van Wood has obtained various certifications from Razi Institute, both for hollow decks and for solid decks, of course, in 2 grades, normal and marine.

In the following articles, I will give a comprehensive and complete explanation about the marine grade.

Low modulus of elasticity:

Plast (wpc) wood panels have a very low modulus of elasticity, which is about one tenth of wood. Therefore, products made of Plast wood can come in different shapes and forms, which gives a high degree of flexibility when designing products with Plast wood. This is due to the relatively high content and percentage of plastic in Plast wood.

Plastic wood panels have high tensile strength and moment of inertia but low modulus of elasticity, and therefore can be used as an ideal material in place.

What are the uses of Plast wood?

The features and properties mentioned above have all led to the use of plastic wood in various cases and as a well-known material in industry.

Among the applications of wood plastic composite, the following can be mentioned:

  • Plast wood flooring
  • Facade of Plast wood building
  • Plast wood wall covering
  • Plagola wood pergola
  • Plast wood pavilion
  • Plast wood fence
  • Plast wood vase
  • Plast wood bench
  • Plast wood false ceiling

Plast van wood flooring:

Flooring is one of the main uses of plastic wood.  The use of Plast wood flooring for outdoor is one of the most common applications of this material, which is used in different ways. Using plastic wood flooring for pools, landscaping, decking, and paths is an ideal option.

This is mainly due to the presence of water and rain in the open air, there is probably rot, fungus, cracking and other problems for common flooring such as wood flooring. But plastic wood flooring (wpc) will not cause such problems due to its high resistance to water, sun, fungus and mold and cracking.

In addition to water resistance, Plast wood flooring is an irreplaceable option for use around the pool due to its high resistance to slipping.

In addition, the ease of cleaning Plast wood floors with water and detergents is another effective and positive factor in choosing this material for such applications.

But one of the points that should be considered when using plastic wood flooring is that most of these types of flooring usually lose their original brightness and clarity very quickly, which to achieve the initial clarity must be re-treated with water and materials. The detergent should be cleaned. Of course, this issue is less observed in quality types of Plast wood.

It is clear that Plast wood, like other materials, is slightly vulnerable to UV rays, and color loss of up to 5 Delta units is normal.

Another reason for choosing Plast wood flooring is its low maintenance costs compared to other alternatives. Because basically wpc floors do not need coatings and protective paints, only with a simple wash can be returned to its previous ideal state. However, in thermo wood or wood flooring, it must be maintained continuously and carefully to maintain its original quality. Therefore, there will be no costs related to painting and polishing in Plast wood floors.

As mentioned, floors should have good resistance to the sun and UV rays so that they do not wear out and damage due to the passage of time and sunlight. Therefore, choosing plastic wood flooring that has good resistance to UV rays can be an ideal option for this purpose.

It should also be noted that the purchased plastic flooring should be standard and have good dimensional stability, meaning that they do not simply change size and dimensions with changes in environmental conditions.

Other uses for plastic wood include balconies, terraces, garden roofs and even piers. The use of balcony floor, terrace floor and roof garden floor of Plast wood is important because they are exposed to water, wind, sun and temperature changes like outdoors.

The use of plastic wood and wpc flooring is also used in urban projects in addition to homes. For example, Tehran Nature Plast Bridge wood flooring is one of the famous examples of the use of this material in urban projects or a variety of urban furniture and park benches are also used in urban projects.

Facade of Wood Plast building:

Another application of composite plastic wood or wpc is used in building facades. Facade of Plast wood building is always one of the suitable options for this purpose due to its high resistance to weather conditions in accordance with the open space. Plast wood facade, although it does not give the beauty and natural feeling of wood, but due to its high resistance to moisture, sun, cracking, fungus, etc., it is a painless option. Examples of building facades made of plastic wood can be seen through the following link:

https://www.wpc.ir/en/sample-projects/

Plast wood wall covering:

The use of wooden wall coverings in various places and spaces, including indoors, restaurants, coffee shops, commercial centers, offices, etc., has many applications. Today, with the presence of durable materials such as wood plast, this material has also been added to the applicable options for this case.

Pergola Wood Plast:

There are different types of pergolas that are classified depending on the material. Wooden pergolas, metal pergolas, thermo wood pergolas and wood plast pergolas are the most important types of this structure. Pergola is usually used as a canopy or structure to create green space.

Perhaps the most beautiful type of pergola can be considered a wooden pergola, which of course is the most common type. But plastic wood pergola is still a relatively ideal option for outdoor weather conditions due to its high

resistance.

Examples of pergolas made of plastic wood can be seen through the following link:

https://www.wpc.ir/en/sample-projects/

Plast wood pavilion:

Like pergolas, pavilions come in a variety of shapes and materials, including wooden pavilions, metal pavilions, thermo wood pavilions, and Plast wood pavilions. The use of wpc pavilions can be chosen as a suitable option due to its good resistance to water and sun.

But as you know, the feeling of a beautiful wooden pavilion is not and will not be comparable to other pavilions, especially metal pavilions. The advantage of Plast wood pavilion is its easy maintenance and good resistance to weather conditions, but this does not mean that a wooden pavilion can be easily damaged and worn out.

If wooden pavilions use suitable wood coating colors and are periodically repainted, then they will have a very good and significant lifespan. Therefore, the use of pergolas or pavilions made of Plast wood, as mentioned, is the only option that has less maintenance problems and can not be considered a permanent and definitive alternative to wooden pavilions.

Examples of pavilions made of plastic wood can be seen through the following link:

Plast wood fence:

Plastic wood fences are another application of plastic wood, which occured to be one of the most suitable options for this work. The use of plastic fences will be suitable for terraces, balconies, green spaces and any place where fencing is needed due to their better durability and efficiency.

Examples of fences made of Vanwood plastic wood can be seen through the following link:

Plast wood vase:

Nowadays, the use of pots other than the usual pots that are made of plastic, pottery or glass is common. Among these vases, we can mention Plast wood vases and wooden vases.

Wooden vases have a better beauty and feel than plastic vases. But the only problem with wooden pots is that they are less resistant to water and moisture.

Plast wood pots and flower boxes have overcome this shortcoming due to their resistance to water and moisture and their proximity to the wooden state, and have been proposed as an ideal option in this field.

Examples of plastic wood vases and plastic wood van wood flower boxes can be seen through the following link:

Meanwhile, Grun Van Wood is proud to be the only provider of Plast wood products in Digi Kala.

Plast wood bench:

As you know, wooden and metal benches and tables have a large part of the table and goodness industry. Metal benches are more commonly used outdoors because they are generally more durable than wooden benches.

But with all these conditions, wooden benches are also used because of their more beauty and attractiveness. Plastic wood benches, which are a combination of wood facade and plastic resistance to moisture, can be useful and practical here. Examples of benches made of Van Wood plastic wood can be seen through the following link:

Plast wood false ceiling (ceiling louver):

Among the new applications of plastic wood can be considered in creating a false ceiling with plastic wood. The use of Plast wood suspended ceilings in public and recreational centers such as restaurants, cafes, shopping and entertainment centers can be considered as an ideal and attractive option. You can see an example of a false ceiling made of Van Wood plastic wood through the following link:

Plast wood partition:

Partitions are commonly used to separate and partition different parts of a space. Plast wood partitions are among the products made of plastic wood composite (wpc) that can be used for partitioning office space, training centers, etc.

Plast Wood Louvre:

The Louvre is a type of canopy that is used to refract the intensity of sunlight as well as to reduce heat in hot areas.

Louvres have architectural and installation uses and are usually made of aluminum and iron but a new type of louver can be referred to the plastic wood louver,

examples of which can be seen through the following link:

https://www.wpc.ir/en/sample-projects/

Plast wood frameworks:

Door and window frames are made of different materials, the common types of which are metal, wood and UPVC. Plastic wood door and window frames are also being used as another type of material used in this section. Of course, it should be noted that there are also plastic wood doors that have their own advantages and disadvantages.

What is the production process of Plast wood?

Wood plastic composite can be produced in different ways, including:

  • Production of Plast wood by extrusion method
  • Production of plastic wood by injection molding method (Injection Molding)
  • Production of Plast wood by compression molding method
  • Production of plastic wood by plate molding method (Plate Molding)
  • Production of Plast wood by Pultrusion method
  • Production of Plast wood by laser sintering method (laser sintering)
  • Production of Plast wood by Fused Layer Modeling

Among the above methods, the last two methods are new methods that have recently been used in the world. But the most common method of producing plastic wood is the production by extrusion method, which is briefly described in the following section.

Plast wood production by extrusion method:

In this method, the extruder is the main part of the production system of wood plastic profile (wpc profile). The main purpose of this device is to melt polymers (thermoplastics) and combine polymers, wood and additives in the process, which is called compounding.

The method of working in this method is that the raw materials are first combined and passed through the extruder machine and its special molds in the form of Plast wood profiles. In the next step, it is time to cool and wash the profiles with water and air flow. The profiles are then cut to different dimensions and sizes required to meet customer needs. The following video is made by Van Wood factory and explains the production of Wood Plast in a better way:

https://www.aparat.com/v/OlLFt/%DA%86%D9%88%D8%A8_%D9%BE%D9%84%D8%A7%D8%B3%D8%AA%DB%8C%DA%A9_%D9%88%D9%86_%D9%88%D9%88%D8%AF24

There are generally four main types of extrusion systems:

  • Single screw or single screw (Single Screw)
  • Two coils with co-rotating Twin Screw

Counter-rotating Twin Screw

  • Woodtruder system

The type of extrusion and the number and mode of operation of the extruder screws (screws) affect the amount and method of mixing materials. Single-screw systems have poorer performance than systems with more advanced screws.

Single Screw System:

Fiber composite single-screw extruder is the simplest system for producing wood-plastic (wpc) profiles. The system consists of melting, measuring and a porous section for evacuating volatiles. The material of the single-screw extruder pre-mixes the fiber-filled polymer pellets. A dryer may be needed at this stage to dry the pellets. The method of material entry is by gravity and the melting / mixing mechanism will be by chamber heat and Mardon stress. The advantages of single-screw extruder are proven technology and minimal initial capital required.  Disadvantages of this system include high cost of raw materials, lower output rate, need for a drying system, higher probability of thermal decomposition of wood fiber, high Mardon rotation speed and the possibility of Mardon tip burn, and inability to maintain the melting temperature at higher pressures.

Counter-rotating Twin Screw system:

The two-screw extruder system with reverse rotation is used in the following cases: when using temperature sensitive polymers such as PVC, low temperature extrusion for fibers and foams, non-compound materials such as powder, injection materials. They are difficult as feed, and those substances that require degassing or removal of gas from liquids. The two-screw system with reverse rotation can have a parallel or conical screw arrangement.

Wood and polymer fibers are about the same size (usually between 250 and 400 microns). Material separation is the drying of the fiber and then high-intensity mixing with polymers and additives. The feed entry method is usually by Crammer Feeder. The melting / mixing mechanism is by chamber heat and Mardon mixing. Moisture removal is done by vacuum valve.

The advantages of the twin-screw extruder system with reverse rotation are the low screw speed, the low mixing stress, and its proven technology. Disadvantages of this method include the need for a drying system, the need for a reduced system for material entry, the need for a pre-mixing system, and the effect of material transfer on the feed composition ratio.

Combined system of two Mardons with directional rotation and single Mardon hot melt:

The combined system of two mardons with directional rotation and single mardon hot melt can be used to produce Plast wood profiles.

In this case, a two-screw extruder is rotated in the same direction with a length-to-diameter ratio of 40:1 with a hot-melt single-screw extruder with a length-to-diameter ratio of 10:1.

The materials of this system are wood fiber with ambient moisture content (between 5 to 8%), polymers and additives in their usual state. In this case, there is no need for any pre-preparation of materials such as pre-mixing of compounds. The melting / mixing mechanism includes chamber heat, Mardon velocity, and Mardon mixing.

Moisture removal is done by vacuum and atmospheric valves. The advantages of this method include the following: Ability to process wood in ambient moisture content so that the extruder does not require drying and pre-mixing to dry the fiber; as well as good mixing of fiber and polymer together.

Disadvantages of this method include the need for lateral feeding systems, high Mardon speed, Mardon lack of cooling (possibility of burns), inability to keep the melting temperature low at high pressures, and simultaneous melting of the polymer with fiber (possibility of burns & harder output) noted.

Woodtruder system:

Woodtruder system includes a double-screw extruder with reverse rotation with a length to diameter ratio of 28 to 1 and a 75-mm single-screw extruder, a mixing unit, computer mixing control system, compression mold, spray cooling chamber, cutting mold (animated) , and desk. When the process begins, the wood flour containing the ambient moisture enters the fiber feed section and is dried by two mardons. In addition to fiber, plastics also melt.

The melting / mixing mechanism includes chamber heat and Mardon mixing. Separation of transition wood and melting plastic ensures that the fiber does not burn during the melting of the plastic, and that melted plastic protects the fibers in a compact manner. These materials are then combined and the remaining moisture or volatiles are removed through a vacuum valve.

advantage of this system is that wood flour and additives are all in their natural state and there is no need to prepare any ingredients. way materials enter is through their weight force.

The advantages of this method are the ability to process fiber in ambient moisture content (5 to 8%), separate polymer melting process, proper mixing of polymer and fiber, cooling the screw in two screws, ability to maintain low melting temperature at high pressures, better discharge,  elimination of drying equipment,

reduction of size and separate premixing, ultra-flexible integrated process control system for extruder operating units and material entry.

Disadvantages include lower throughput, higher capital costs, and the use of a main extruder as a dryer, which is not the best possible way to process dry wood flour.

What are plastic additives and what is their role?

Plast wood production is not a simple and hassle-free process. Its main problems are related to adhesion problems, which are caused by the incompatibility between polar wood and non-polar plastic. Problems caused by rising temperature and pressure in the extruder are other problems. Therefore, the use of various additives in the formulation of Plast wood can improve the physical, mechanical and chemical properties of plastic wood composite and make its use in various industries more than before.

Vanwood Production Group procures its raw materials from the best domestic companies and has put utmost care in this matter. Additives are relatively important raw materials in the manufacture of wood-plastic composites that can be used for a variety of reasons. Types of additives to Plast wood include lubricants, deformation control additives, coupling agents, stabilizers, fillers, density reduction additives, bio acids, dyes, product additives, retarders  and smoke reducers.

One of the biggest problems in making plastic wood is the lack of proper contact and interaction between the hydrophilic wood filler and the hydrophobic polymer network, which leads to poor adhesion and reduced properties.  In general, the strength of adhesion between two materials is related to the mechanism that occurs at the contact surface. In the wpc system, this mechanism is of the type of scattering forces, and therefore the energy of the material surfaces is effective, and the amount of contact energy between the two levels determines the amount of adhesion has done perfectly.

One of the most important additives used in the production of Plast wood is called coupling agents. The use of maleic anhydride bonding polymer in polyolefin-based plastics wood is one of the common ways to affect the contact surface interaction and strengthen the adhesion of the fiber network.

information about woodplast

Of course, the pressure of the machine and the quality of the production machines also affect the quality of the product output.

Male polyolefins are currently the main mating factor in commercial plastic wood products.  Plast wood manufacturers typically use 1 to 5 percent by weight of male polyolefins as a pairing agent in their formulations.

Studies on the effect of the amount of lubricants on the process and properties of wood and high density polyethylene (HDPE) composites have concluded that with increasing the amount of lubricant, the apparent viscosity decreases (source). The optimal amount of wood fiber, high density polyethylene (HDPE), maleic polyethylene anhydride (MAPE), and lubricant can facilitate the process by reducing viscosity and maintaining the mechanical properties and softness of the surface. Among lubricants, ester lubricants can cause better dispersion of particles and good external lubrication.

Bioacids are added to plastic wood to control and reduce fungal growth. In a study, bio acid zinc and bio acid silver were used to compare the effect of preventing fungal growth and the result showed that silver bio acid has no effect on preventing fungal growth, but bio acid zinc is effective in preventing fungal growth. Another study found that sodium / calcium borate was significantly better than zinc borate in preventing fungal growth in Plast wood.

information about woodplast

As you know, the sun’s ultraviolet or UV rays can destroy the color and weaken the mechanical strength of plastic wood. To solve this problem and create more durability, stabilizers such as inhibited amine stabilizers (HALS) and ultraviolet absorbers (UVA) are used in plastic wood composite.

Diester inhibited light amine stabilizers stabilize the color of plastic wood by eliminating free radicals produced by ultraviolet rays. The higher the molecular weight of the diesters, the more stable it will be in the composite. The results of studies show that UV stabilizers reduce the optical degradation of plastic wood.

Foamed plastic wood composites have interesting properties such as reduced weight and cost, higher power to weight ratio, and higher surface transparency (clearer surface and corners).

In one study, three chemical foaming agents (calorific & exothermic) were used to add to the wood fiber composition and polypropylene granules. The results showed that exothermic foaming agents were the best option for creating foam in plastic wood.

One of the main disadvantages of plastic wood is its high flammability. Therefore, improving its flame resistance can expand its use in other applications. Fire resistance in plastic wood is very important because it is used in construction and manufacturing equipment.

To better understand the behavior of retarders in the performance of plastic wood composites, five retardant systems (dicarbofromediphenyl oxide, magnesium hydroxide, zinc borate, melamine phosphate, and ammonium polyphosphate) were investigated. All of these five factors improved the performance of Plast wood against fire.  Interestingly, the addition of wood flour alone also improved the fire resistance performance of plastic wood.

Also, by adding additive dyes to plastic wood, there are different colors of it, an example of which you can see in the following video:

What are the standards for making Plast wood?

The standard refers to a set of instructions and tests that can be followed to produce world-class products. Of course, there are two types of standards: one is the international standards that are used and valid all over the world, and the other is the national standards that are specific to each country.

But there are several external standards for the production of plastic wood, each of which is used for a specific purpose.

The Governor of Iran has also set a national standard called the National Standard of Iran No. 19905, the implementation and compliance of which is not required for domestic producers of plastic wood, but having this standard is an advantage.

Among the standards for the production of plastic wood, the following can be mentioned:

  • Fire resistance
  • Abrasion resistance
  • Slip resistance
  • Bending strength
  • pushing resistance
  • Abrasion resistance
  • Control dimensions and sizes
  • Density control
  • Humidity control
  • Resistance to boiling water
  • Resistance to thermal deformation
  • Resistance to aging
  • Resistance to decay
  • Resistance to fungi
  • Resistance to chemicals
  • Resistance to termites and insects
  • Resistance to ultraviolet (UV) rays
  • Resistance to inflation
  • Impact resistance
  • Surface smoothness control
  • And …
  •

A list of plastic wood standards can be found in the following section:

ASTM – ASTM D9 – ASTM D143 – ASTM D792 – ASTM D883 – ASTM D1037 – ASTM D1038 – ASTM D1413 – ASTM D1554 – ASTM D1761 – ASTM D1929 – ASTM D2017 – ASTM D2047 – ASTM D2394 – ASTM D2394 – ASTM D2394  ASTM D2915 – ASTM D3345 – ASTM D4000 – ASTM D4060 – ASTM D4092 – ASTM D4442 -ASTM D4495 – ASTM D4761 – ASTM D5379 – ASTM D5456 – ASTM D5764 – ASTM D6109 – ASTM D6668 – ASTM D6341 – ASTM  – ASTM E1354 – ASTM F1679 – ASTM G154 – EN 15534-1 – EN 1183-1 – ASTM D7031 – EN 317 – ASTM D703 – EN 15534-1 – ISO 11998 – EN 12667 – ISO 11359 – ASTM D696 – EN 13442.

Each manufacturer, depending on the level of quality it intends, can use a number of these standards to produce higher quality products than competitors.

How to implement and install Plast wood?

In general, the installation and execution of Plast wood is not a difficult task and by learning the necessary principles and technical points, this can be done easily.

The most important point to start installing Plast wood is to prepare the substructure. In other words, the implementation of substructure or chassis in order to install Plast wood to install profiles. Wood profiles, metal profiles and even Plast wood profiles can be used to create substructure.

Painting metal profiles in order to prevent rusting of the substructure is one of the important points that must be considered. It is very important, especially in places where it is welded.

If the work floor is uniform and there is no difference in height, then it is enough to install the profiles in a direction perpendicular to the installation of plastic wood profiles. However, if the working floor is not uniform, a false flooring system should be used to smooth the slope of the floor.

It is better to place the substructure profiles at a distance of 30 cm from each other. Of course, this depends on the use of the place. For example, if it is to be used in crowded and touristy places, it is better to reduce this distance to less than 25 cm. When you put two plastic wood profiles together, put a distance of about 1 cm between them so that there is no problem due to expansion and contraction. It is better to create a slope of about one percent in the whole work so that if water remains on the floor, it will come out slowly due to this slope.

The standard of Van Wood substructure is 25 cm in the floor and 40 cm in the facade. Install the first profile on the substructure with screws and drills. Then use T-clamps for product installation and continue the installation process in the same way.  make sure to use stainless steel screws to prevent corrosion over time.
